These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the NoSTDs platform, including our clinic/lab directory, test-verification engine, consent-based status sharing, subscriptions, and partner integrations. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What NoSTDs Is
NoSTDs is a technology platform that (a) lists clinics and labs, (b) ingests and verifies STD test results uploaded by those partners, and (c) lets you share a verified status with people or platforms you choose. NoSTDs is not a medical provider, laboratory, or clinic, and does not perform tests, provide diagnoses, or give medical advice. See our Disclaimer.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be old enough to consent to STD testing in your jurisdiction to use the service.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your credentials secure. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
3. Verified Results & Self-Declarations
Verified results originate from partner clinics and labs and are validated by our ingestion process. Self-declarations are entries you add and are clearly marked as self-reported; they are not independently verified. You must not upload or declare information you know to be false.
4. Sharing & Consent
You control every share. When you create a share you choose its scope and expiry, and you can revoke it. You agree not to misrepresent another person's status, and not to coerce anyone into sharing theirs. Recipients must not scrape, redistribute, or attempt to de-anonymize shared data.
5. Bookings with Clinics & Labs
The directory helps you find and book with third-party clinics and labs. The testing service itself is provided by that partner under their own terms and professional standards. Availability, pricing, and contact methods are set by the partner. Cancellations are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
6. Subscriptions & Payments
Some features require a paid plan. Prices are shown at checkout and processed through our payment gateway. By subscribing you authorize the applicable charges. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
7. Partner & API Terms
Clinics, labs, and API partners must register and be approved before accessing partner features. Approved API partners must keep their API keys confidential, use lookups only with a lawful basis or the user's consent, and must not store or reuse returned data beyond the permitted purpose. We may suspend any partner that violates these Terms or our security requirements.
8. Acceptable Use
- Do not attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours.
- Do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the platform without authorization, or bypass rate limits and security controls.
- Do not upload malicious content or unlawful material.
- Do not use the service to harass, discriminate against, or endanger any person.
9. Intellectual Property
The platform, its software, and branding are owned by NoSTDs or its licensors. You retain ownership of the content you submit and grant us the limited licence needed to operate the service (for example, to display your verified status to recipients you choose).
10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NoSTDs is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, for the acts of third-party clinics/labs, or for decisions made based on information on the platform. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a security or fraud risk. You may close your account at any time.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
